Women's Volleyball Drop Three Straight Sets to Valley Forge

The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team tried to defend Cougars Cave when they took on the University of Valley Forge Patriots on Tuesday night and dropped the match by a score of 0-3 (4-25, 5-25, 21-25).
 Freshman Kaina Bazard (Haiti) led the Cougars in kills with two. As a team, the Cougars had five kills. Sophomore Melisa Wright (St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) led the Cougars in assists, tallying up two. As a team, the Cougars totaled three assists. Bazard and Charlena Mackey (Brooklyn, NY) led the Cougars in digs with six each. As a team, the Cougars had twenty-four digs. Â
 Medgar Evers (0-18, 0-5) will return to the court on Thursday, October 20th for their twelfth road match of the season where they will be taking on conference rival Hunter College at 6:00pm in Manhattan, NY.
