Women's Volleyball Defeated by Hunter College

The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team traveled to New York, New York to Hunter College on Thursday night and dropped their match to Hunter College by a score of 0-3 (9-25, 7-25, 13-25).

Junior Charlena Mackey (Brooklyn, NY) and Sophomore Nneoma Anyanwu (Brooklyn,NY) both led the Cougars in kills with two each. Cougars had five kills all in total in the match. Mackey and Freshman Kaina Bazard (Haiti) both led the Cougars in assist with an assist each. Cougars had two assist all in total in the match. Sophomore Melisa Wright (St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) led the Cougars in digs with 5.Cougars had eighteen digs all in total in the match.

Medgar Evers (0-19, 0-6) will return to the court on Saturday, October 21th for the Cairn University Tri Match against Cairn University at 11:00am and John Jay College at 1:00pm in Langhorne, PA.
