Men's Soccer Blanked by Brooklyn College

The Medgar Evers Men's Soccer team was in action Wednesday afternoon as they faced conference rival Brooklyn College and got shut out by a score of 0-6.Â
The Cougars couldn't get there any of their shots past the Bulldogs' goalie as the Cougars took a total of eleven shots(six in the first half and five in the second half) with four of those shots being on goal. The Bulldogs was able to score three goals in the first half and three goals in the second half against the Cougars defense.
Sophomore Darrell Ambersley (Portmore / Jamaica) led the Cougars offense with five shots in the match and two shots being on goal. Sophomore Voshawn Juba (Point-Fortin / Trinidad) had a total of three shots and one shot on goal. Erwine Pierre-Louis (Jacmel, Haiti) also had a shot on goal for his only shot of the match. Both Skyvinsky Fils (Leogane / Haiti) and Ivan Vasojevic (Novi Pazar, Serbia) took a shot in the match. Goalkeeper James Hyacinthe (Aquin / Haiti) had a total of four saves out of six goal attempts in today's match. James collected two in the first half and the other two in the second half.Â
Medgar Evers (1-11, 0-5) will return to the field on Saturday, October 7th for an away game against conference rival City College of New York at 9:30am in New York, NY on Randall's Island.
