Men's Basketball Drops Season Opener to Lycoming College

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their season home opener versus Lycoming College on Wednesday night at 5pm. However, they were unable to start the season on the right track, and dropped the match 81-101.
The Cougars had three players score in double figures. Senior guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) lead the way in scoring with 33 points (7 three pointers) and also contributed with 5 rebounds. Freshman small forward Basheeru Camara (Bronx,NY) scored fifteen points in the match and also collected four rebounds. Junior guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 12 points with two rebounds. Sophomore power forward Joevanny Dambreville (Brooklyn, N.Y.)  had a team high thirteen rebounds and freshman point guard Darrell Spaulding (Harlem , NY) had a team high five assist.
For the Warriors, Junior T.J Duckett scored a team-high 18 points off the bench to lead six players in double figures.
The Cougars look to bounce back from their season home opener loss in their first away game of the season against Cairn University on November 25th at 2:00pm.
