Women's Basketball Drops Second Home Game Of The Season

The Cougars' women's' basketball team played in their second home game versus Albertus Magnus College on Tuesday night at 8:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 48-87.

Junior Center Cyndi Whyte (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in scoring with 20 points going 7-15 on the field and 6-8 on the line. Freshman Shae-quana Brathwaite (Brooklyn,NY) reached just short of a double-double recording eight points and nine rebounds. Freshman Destiny Simmons (Brooklyn,NY) led the Cougars in assist with three.

For the Falcons, the team had four players with double digits in scoring. 

The Cougars look to bounce back from their forth loss of the season this weekend when Medgar Evers host The Annual DR. Betty Shabazz Tournament this Saturday at 5:00pm when Medgar Evers face Southern Vermont in the first round.
