Leading the Lady Cougars were Junior Center Cyndi Whyte (Brooklyn, N.Y.), who posted a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Freshman Guard Malecka Davis (Brooklyn,NY) who also flirted with a double-double posting 14 points while grabbing nine rebounds.
On the other end, leading the comeback for the Mountaineers, Junior Guard Maddy Main scored 19 points while grabbing 19 rebounds.
The Lady Cougars look to bounce back from this loss tomorrow during the consolation match of the Betty Shabazz tournament against College of New Rochelle tomorrow at 1pm at Cougars Cave.
