Men's Basketball Drops Final Game of 2017 BWW Classic

On Saturday afternoon, the Cougars' men's basketball team played in their final game of the 2017 BWW Classic Tournament and dropped the match by a score of 85-94.Â
The Cougars had two players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) stuffed the stat sheet in this match scoring 35 points including 7 three pointers while also contributing 6 assist, 3 blocks, 3 steals and 2 rebounds rewarding him with the All-Tournament team honors. Off the bench, Sophomore Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 22 points in the match. Freshman Point Guard Darrell Spaulding (Harlem , NY) had a game high in assist with 7 and Freshman Small Forward Basheeru Camara (Bronx,NY) had a game high in rebounds with 9.Â
For the Nittany Lions, Devin Hill scored 20 points while shooting 63% from the field and Terrance Reese scoring 19 points while shooting 54% from the field. Â
The Cougars look to end their losing streak by returning back home to take on Baruch College in conference play on Wednesday, January 3rd at 7:00pm.
