Men's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match Against York College

On Friday night, the Cougars took the court once again at Cougars Cave versus the Cardinals of York College for their fifth home game of the season. Unfortunately however, the Cougars came up short falling to the Cardinals 64-80.
The Cougars had two players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in scoring with 24 points going 5-10 on the 3 point line, 9-16 overall. Sophomore Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) off the bench scored 13 points going 4-6 on the free throw line and 4-8 on the field. Freshman Guard Terrell Williams (Brooklyn,NY) led the Cougars in rebounds with 16 and Freshman Guard Darrell Spaulding (Harlem , NY) led the Cougars in assist with 6.
For the Cardinals, #21 Ryan Smart led the team to their win with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks.
The Cougars look to rest up and practice hard to get ready for the Buffalo Wild Wings Classic Tournament starting on Friday, December 29th at 6:00pm going against Stevenson University in Maryland.
