Women's Volleyball Falls Short to Lehman College

The Medgar Evers women's volleyball team falls short to Lehman College by a score of 3-2 ( 25-20, 20-25,25-22,14-25, 10-15). It was a very intense match as both teams had a chance to win this match with Medgar winning the first set, Lehman winning the second set, Medgar winning the third set and then Lehman winning the fourth and deciding fifth set.  

Sophomore Melisa Wright (St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) led the Cougars in kills with twelve and she also had ten digs. Junior Charlena Mackey (Brooklyn, NY) led the Cougars in assist with thirteen and also had six kills and nine digs. Freshman Kaina Bazard (Haiti) led the Cougars in digs with twenty three and also had eight kills and two assist.

Medgar Evers (0-10,0-3) will return to the court on Saturday, September 23rd away at 11:00am against University of Valley Forge.
