Men's Soccer Blanked by Farmingdale State

The Medgar Evers Men's Soccer team was in action Monday afternoon as they faced non-conference rival Farmingdale State and got shut out by a score of 0-7.

The Cougars couldn't get there offense on the right track in the match since the Rams played very well defensively. The Rams was able to score five goals in the first half and two goal in the second half against the Cougars defense.

Jordan Coke (Kingston / Jamaica) and Randy Urgiles (New York) both took the only shots on goal in the match. Coke had three total shots in the match. Adeyemi Adeniyi (Oyo / Nigeria) took two shots and both Abdul Edwards (Georgetown / Guyana) and Skyvinsky Fils (Leogane / Haiti) took a shot in the match. Goalkeeper James Hyacinthe (Aquin / Haiti) had four saves in seven goal attempts in the match.

Medgar Evers (1-9, 0-3) will return to the field on Wednesday, September 27th for their fifth home game versus conference rival Hunter College at 5:00pm in Brooklyn, NY.
