Men's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match Against College Of Staten Island

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their fifth conference matchup of the season versus College of Staten Island on Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 63-94 making them 1-4 in conference play so far this season.

Cougars had one player in the double figures. Junior Guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 16 points and also contributed 4 rebounds, 2 assist in 31 minutes. Freshman Small Forward Basheeru Camara (Bronx, NY) led the Cougars in rebounds with 10 as he came short of a double-double with 7 points in 25 minutes. As a team, Cougars collected 47 rebounds. 

For the Dolphins, the team had a strong second half scoring 62 points against the Cougars 35 points. Adeola Latunji contributed with 25 points (10-15 on the field, 5-5 on the free throw line). 

Cougars continue their conference play this week by playing away against conference rival City College of New York on Thursday, January 11th at 7:00pm.
