Men's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match Against Lehman College

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their eighth conference matchup of the season against Lehman College on Saturday afternoon at 7:30pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 68-93 making them 2-6 in conference play so far this season.
Cougars had three players in double figures. Junior Guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the team in scoring with 21 points shooting 8-13 on the field including 3 three pointers while also contributing with 5 assist and 4 rebounds in 35 minutes of play. Sophomore Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 15 points going 6-7 on the free throw line while also contributing 5 rebounds in 27 minutes of play. Freshman Small Forward Basheeru Camara (Bronx, NY) scored 14 points going 2-3 on the three point line and 6-13 overall on the field while also contributing 6 rebounds in 33 minutes of play.
For the Lightning, Tevon Bennett led his team in scoring with 18 points.
Cougars continue their week by traveling away to go against non-conference rival University of Valley Forge on Friday, January 19th at 8:00pm
