Men's Basketball Drops Match Against University of Valley ForgeĀ

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their 16th match of the season against University of Valley Forge on Friday night at 8:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 77-88 making them 4-12 so far this season.
Cougars had three players in double figures. Junior GuardĀ Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in scoring with 27 points shooting 50% on the 3 point line while also contributing 5 rebounds and 2 steals in 38 minutes of play. Sophomore GuardĀ Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 21 points shooting 5% on the 3 point line in 30 minutes of play. Freshman Small ForwardĀ Basheeru Camara (Bronx, NY) scored 11 points while also contributing a team-high 6 rebounds, team-high 3 assist and 2 steals in 28 minutes of the match.
For the Patriots, Alex Sanchez led his team to the win with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assist in 29 minutes of play.
Cougars play again next week by traveling awayĀ to go against conference rival York CollegeĀ on Monday, JanuaryĀ 22ndĀ at 7:30pm.
