Men's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match Against Brooklyn College

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their tenth conference matchup of the season against Brooklyn College on Wednesday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars lost the match by a score of 86-104 making them 3-7 in conference play so far this season.

Cougars had four players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in offense scoring 23 points while also having a team high 4 assist in 35 minutes of play. Junior Guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 13 points while also contributing 4 rebounds in 27 minutes of play. Freshman Guard Dimitri Weeks (Corona, NY) scored 11 points off the bench going 4-5 on the field in 14 minutes of play. Sophomore Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.)  scored 10 points going 4-6 on the free throw line in 24 minutes of play. Freshman Small Forward Basheeru Camara (Bronx, NY) had a team high 6 rebounds in 18 minutes of play. 

For the Bulldogs, Niv Konfino led his team to the win with a triple double recording 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assist.

Cougars continue their week by traveling away to go against conference rival Hunter College on Saturday, January 27th at 3:00pm
