The Cougars' women's' basketball team played in their twelfth conference matchup of the season against College of Staten Island on Tuesday night at 5:00pm. The Cougars loses by a score of 41-83 making them 0-12 in conference play so far in the season.

Lady Cougars had one lone player in double figures. Junior Center Cyndi Whyte (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in scoring with 19 points while contributing with 7 rebounds in 36 minutes of play. Freshman Guard Sharena Mellor (Brooklyn, NY) had a game high 11 rebounds and also a team high 3 steals in 36 minutes of play. Freshman Guard Destiny Simmons (Brooklyn, NY) had a team high 5 assist. 

For the Dolphins, Christina Pasaturo led her team to the win with contributing 24 points and 4 rebounds in 22 minutes of play.

Lady Cougars' next match is next week by playing away to go against conference rival John Jay College on Tuesday, February 6th at 6:00pm.
