Lady Cougars Falls to Conference Foe Baruch College

The Cougars' women's' basketball team played in their third conference matchup of the season versus Baruch College on Wednesday night at 5:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 38-65 making them 0-3 in conference play so far in the season.

Junior Center Cyndi Whyte (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led all scorers with 16 points going 8-11 on the free throw line while also recording a game high 11 rebounds. As a team, the Cougars recorded a total of 30 rebounds. Junior Guard  Janaisha Carrington (Brooklyn, NY) had a game high in assist with four. As a team, the Cougars recorded a total of 9 assist. 

For the bearcats, Shannon Barrett contributed with 21 points, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks and 3 assists.

Lady Cougars continue their conference play this week by playing away to go against conference rival Brooklyn College on Friday, January 5th at 5:00pm.
