Men's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match against Baruch College

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their fifteenth conference matchup of the season against Baruch College on Saturday afternoon at 4:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 53-74 making them 4-11 in conference play so far this season.
Cougars had three players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in scoring with 16 points while also contributing with 3 rebounds, 3 assist and a team high 2 steals in 30 minutes of play. Junior Guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 14 points while also contributing 6 rebounds and a team-high 6 assist in 39 minutes of play. Sophomore Shooting Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 10 points while also contributing 4 rebounds in 33 minutes of play. Power Forward Jafet Thomas (Bronx, N.Y.) collected a team-high 10 rebounds.
For the Bearcats, Chimaechi Ekekeugbor led his team to the win with 27 points shooting 11-16 from the field, 13 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 blocks and 6 steals in 33 minutes of play. Â Â
