Lady Cougars Drops Conference Match Against Baruch College

The Cougars' women's' basketball team played in their fifteenth conference matchup of the season against Baruch College on Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm. The Cougars loses by a score of 33-70 making them 2-13 in conference play so far in the season.

Lady Cougars had a lone player in double figures. Freshman Guard Malecka Davis (Brooklyn, NY) led the Cougars in scoring with 14 points while also contributing 5 rebounds in 39 minutes of play. Freshman Center Elizabeth Figaro (Brooklyn, NY) had a team-high 13 rebounds. Junior Guard Janaisha Carrington (Brooklyn, NY) had a team-high 6 assist and a team-high 3 steals. 

For the Bearcats, Shannon Barrett led her team to the win with 18 points, 16 rebounds and 3 blocks in 35 minutes of play. 

Lady Cougars' return home to go against conference rival City College on Tuesday, February 13th at 5:00pm.
