Men's Basketball Drops CUNYAC/CSAC Challenge Match Against Keystone College

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their 21st match of the season against Keystone College on Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm. The Cougars lost the match by a score of 80-94 making them 6-15 overall so far this season.
Cougars had three players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had a team high 17 points shooting 4-7 on the three point line and 5-9 overall on the field while also having a game high 3 steals in 27 minutes of play. Sophomore Shooting Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 13 points in 23 minutes of play. Freshman Small Forward Basheeru Camara (Bronx, NY) reached a double-double scoring 12 points on 4-7 shooting on the field and 4-6 on the free throw line and collecting a team high 10 rebounds and a game high in blocks with 2 in 27 minutes of play. Junior Guard Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in assist with 6.Â
For the Giants, Jt Bennett led his team to a victory with 30 points shooting 8-13 on the three point line and 10-17 overall in 25 minutes of play.
Cougars will go back to conference play by traveling away to go against conference rival John Jay College on Tuesday, February 6th at 8:00pm.
