Men's Basketball Drops Conference Rival Match Against John Jay CollegeĀ

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their thirteenthĀ conference matchup of the season against John Jay College on Tuesday night at 8:00pm. The Cougars droppedĀ the match by a score of 62-81 making them 4-9 in conference play so far this season.Ā
Cougars had two players in double figures. Junior GuardĀ Justin Sutton (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 19 points and tied a team high in rebounds with 5 and steals with 2 in 36 minutes of play. Sophomore Shooting GuardĀ Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 14 points and tied a team high in rebounds with 5 and a team high in assist with 4 in 28 minutes of play.Ā
For the Bloodhounds, Essien EppsĀ led his team to the win with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assist.Ā
Cougars continue their conference play by returning homeĀ to go against conference rival Lehman College on Thursday, February 8thĀ at 6:00pm.
