Men's Basketball Falls to Conference Rival Lehman College

The Cougars' men's basketball team played in their fourteenth conference matchup of the season against Lehman College on Thursday night at 7:00pm. The Cougars dropped the match by a score of 68-91 making them 4-10 in conference play so far this season.
Cougars had three players in double figures. Senior Guard Maurice Swaby II (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Cougars in scoring with 15 points while also contributing 4 rebounds, a tied team-high 3 assist and a game-high 5 steals in 25 minutes of play. Sophomore Guard Joancarlo Bonilla (Woodside, N.Y.) scored 13 points in 27 minutes of play. Off the bench, Freshman Point Guard Darrell Spaulding (Harlem , NY) scored 11 points in 26 minutes of play. Power Forward Jafet Thomas (Bronx, N.Y.) had a game high in rebounds with 11 and blocks with 3.
For the Lighting, Mylo Mitchell scored 27 points off 11-15 shooting while also contributing with 5 rebounds and 4 assist in 31 minutes of play.
Cougars' go back on the road to go against conference rival Baruch College on Saturday, February 10th at 4:00pm.
