Lady Cougars Falls to Conference Foe Lehman College

The Cougars' women's' basketball team played in their fourteenth conference matchup of the season against Lehman College on Tuesday night at 5:00pm. The Cougars loses by a score of 36-79 making them 2-12 in conference play so far in the season.
Lady Cougars had two players in double figures. Junior Guard Tanayah Williams (Brooklyn, NY) led the Cougars in scoring with 11 points while having a team high 4 assist and collecting 7 rebounds in 37 minutes of play. Freshman Guard Destiny Simmons (Brooklyn,NY) scored 10 points while also collecting a team high 3 steals in 34 minutes of play. Freshmen Center Elizabeth Figaro (Brooklyn, NY) and Freshman Sharena Mellor (Brooklyn,NY) both tied the game high in rebounds with 11.
For the Lightening, Lynda Fields led her team to the win with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assist, and 7 steals in 35 minutes of play.
Lady Cougars' go back on the road to go against conference rival Baruch College on Saturday, February 10th at 2:00pm.
