Bronx, N.Y. - Medgar Evers College Women's Volleyball team visited Maritime College for a match against the Lady Privateers on Monday September 10^th, 2018. The Lady Cougars gave the Privateers a challenge in each set.

With the scores being 15-25, 19-25, and 20-25, the Lady Cougars may have fell short yet for all showed no signs of giving up. Junior Melisa Wright (Brooklyn Institute of Liberal Arts HS/ St. Catherine, Jamaica WI) led the team with nine (9) kills and six (6) serve aces, while both Senior Kaina Bazard (Haiti, BMCC) and Freshman Sashamoni Burnett (Young Women Leadership School HS/Brooklyn, NY) led with three (3) kills.
The Lady Cougars will return to action on Thursday September 13^th,2018 when the visit Hunter College at 7pm.
