The Medgar Evers College women's basketball team played a road CUNYAC contest against Brooklyn College on Friday, January 18.
The Cougars (0-18. 0-9 CUNYAC) fell to the Bulldogs (10-6, 7-1) by a final score of 77-39.
MEC was able to hold the CUNYAC-leading Brooklyn team to just 34% shooting and 7-38 from three-point range. However, the Bulldogs were able to grab 27 offensive rebounds and outscored Medgar 40-8 in the paint.
Janaisha Carrington led MEC with nine points and added eight rebounds, while
Jessycca Myers contributed eight points and nine rebounds.
The Cougars return to action on Wednesday, January 23, for a CUNYAC matchup at home against Lehman College. Tip-off will be at 6 pm.
