Lehman's defense held the Cougars at bay, as Medgar Evers didn't get into double figures until there was 9:29 left in the half on Simmons' converted layup. At that juncture of the session, Lehman held a 24-10 edge. The lead continued to gradually grow, with the Lightning taking a 23-point lead into the locker room at halftime (42-19).

The Cougars will look to once again be a thorn in the Bearcats' side, as Medgar Evers ended Baruch's bid for an unblemished CUNYAC mark back on February 9th, defeating the Bearcats 71-65. On Saturday, they'll hope to end Baruch's bid for its first CUNYAC title since 2019. Start-time at the ARC Arena is set for 3:00pm.
