Men's soccer loses season opener to Manhattanville

The Medgar Evers men's soccer team struggled in its season opener on Saturday afternoon, falling to the balanced Valiants of Manhattanville College by a score of 10-0 in Purchase, NY.

For the Valiants, starters Matt Rabadi and Kendall Davis, and substitutes Clark Brown and Vinny Garcia all registered two goals apiece. Nico Del Vescovo and Lucas Fernandez each scored as well to account for the additional tallies.

The Cougars will look to bounce back on Wednesday evening, as Medgar Evers will travel to Fleming Field in Yonkers, NY to take on the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons. Start-time for the contest is scheduled for 7:00pm, and live stats can be accessed by clicking here.
