Box Score Jamaica, NY- On Tuesday Oct. 16, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Women's Volleyball team played the York College Cardinals at York College in Jamaica, NY. This was a CUNYAC match. York won 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-21). They improve to 6-24 Overall and 2-4 CUNYAC, while Medgar Evers College dropped to 0-19 Overall and 0-7 CUNYAC.

The Cougars racked up 20 kills in the match. They lead 3 times throughout the contest. In the loss, Medgar Evers was led by Janiece Hill. The Junior tallied up 6 kills on 20 total attacks. Hill accumulated an assist and 5 digs. Junior Beatrice Bonhomme added 5 kills on 15 total attacks. Sophomore setter AnnMarie Bemberry earned 15 assists for the match. 

In the win, York was led by Sharon Fordyce with 10 kils.

Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Sunday Oct. 21, 2012 when they play the Washington Adventist University Shock. Game time is 1pm at Medgar Evers College.
