Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Volleyball team played HVWAC foe Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons at Medgar Evers College. The Gryphons won 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, and 25-17). Sarah Lawrence improves to 16-13 Overall and 5-1 HVWAC, while Medgar Evers dropped to 1-21 Overall and 0-6 HVWAC.

In the 1st set, the Cougars played back and forth volleyball with Sarah Lawrence. The set featured 3 ties before the Gryphons went on a 6-0 run to take set 1, 25-19. In set 2 and 3, the Gryphons led multiple times and didn't let the Cougars claw back to the lead.

In the loss, Medgar Evers College was led by Kiwelewa Mlimwengu. The Sophomore tallied 5 kills to go with an assist, 7 digs, and a blocking assist. Beatrice Bonhomme, Catheline Joseph, and Janiece Hill all earned 3 kills. Sophomore AnnMarie Bemberry led her team with 9 assists. 

Sarah Lawrence was led by Kitty O'Sullivan with 12 kills.
