Box Score Bronxville, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Volleyball Cougars fell to the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons 3-0 (7-25, 11-25, 13-25) in the 2012 HVWAC Women's Volleyball Quarter Finals. The Gryphons improve to 17-13 Overall while the Cougars end their season at 1-22 Overall.

The Cougars tallied 8 kills for the match. Senior Catheline Joseph led with 4 kills to go along with 5 digs and solo block. Junior Beatrice Bonhomme added 3 kills. Sophomore setter AnnMarie Bemberry earned 8 assists. Junior Janiece Hill and Freshman Ava-Loi Anderson each received 2 service aces.

Sarah Lawrence in the win was led by Jomana Abdallah with 11 kills.

After the match, Senior Catheline Joseph was named to the 2012 Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball 2012 All-Conference Team.
