Box Score Brooklyn, NY- On Sunday Sept. 16, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Women's Volleyball team played their Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference foe Culinary Institute of America Steels. The Steels won 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, and 25-7). They improved to 3-2 Overall while Medgar Evers College dropped to 0-8 Overall.
 
In the loss, Medgar Evers was led by Junior Janiece Hill with 4 kills on 20 total attacks. The Beach Channel alum also added an assist. Junior Beatrice Bonhomme added 3 kills and Sophomore AnnMarie Bemberry accumulated 6 assists.
 
Culinary Institute of America in the win was led by Allison Penney with 5 kills.
 
Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Thursday Sept. 20, 2012 when they play CUNYAC and boro rival Brooklyn College Bulldogs. Game time is 7pm at Medgar Evers College (Cougars' Cave).
