Box Score Newark, NJ- On Thursday Sept. 27, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Women's Volleyball team played the Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders. The Scarlet Raiders won 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, and 25-9). They improved to 7-9 Overall while the Cougars fall to 0-11 Overall.
 
In the loss, Medgar Evers College was led by Junior Catheline Joseph with 6 kills on 21 total attacks. Joseph added a service ace, 2 digs, and a blocking assist. Fellow classmate Janiece Hill tallied 3 kills. Sophomore AnnMarie Bemberry added to her season stats with 6 assists.
 
In the win, Rutgers-Newark was led by Stephanie Touzan with 12 kills.
 
Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Monday Oct. 1, 2012 when they take on College of New Rochelle at Medgar Evers College. Game time is 7pm.
