Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Morristown, NJ- The Women's Volleyball Cougars fell to the College of New Rochelle Blue Angels 3-0 and the host College of Saint Elizabeth 3-0 earlier today. In match 1, the Bliue Angels won 3-0 (25-5, 25-12, and 25-23). CNR improves to 14-11 Overall while the Cougars fall to 1-15 Overall.

The Cougars only tallied 9 kills for the match. Leading the charge was Junior Outside Hitter Kiwelewa Mlimwengu with 3 kills on 6 total attacks. Kiwelewa added a pair of digs and a blocking assist. Freshman Setter Charlena Mackey recorded 4 assists, and Freshman Middle Hitter/Outside Hitter Malado Kaba a  team high 2 service aces.

The Blue Angels were led by Meghan King with 11 kills.

In match 2, the College of Saint Elizabeth Eagles defeated the Cougars 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, and 25-12). The Eagles improve to 10-13 Overall while the Cougars fall to 1-16 Overall.

The Cougars tallied 5 kills for the match. Leading the way, was Junior Outside Hitter Kiwelewa Mlimwengu. In this match, she recorded 2 kills on 11 total attacks. Freshman Setter Charlena Mackey added an assist and a service ace. Senior Captain and Outside Hitter Janiece Hill added a service ace.

The Screaming Eagles were led by Kiana Cunningham and Subhana Wrights with 9 kills apiece.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday Oct. 14, 2013, when they travel to Hunter College in New York, NY for a CUNYAC Holiday Multi Match. On Columbus Day, the Cougars will face the host Hawks at 10:00am and then at 12:00pm play the City College of New York Beavers.
