COUGARS FALL TO LIONS IN WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Women's Volleyball Cougars fell to The King's College of New York Lions 3-0 earlier tonight. The Lions won 25-10, 25-6, and 25-22. They improve to 3-10 Overall and 2-4 HVIAC while the Cougars drop to 1-12 Overall and 0-4 HVIAC.

The Cougars were down 2-0 heading into set 3. The Cougars led multiple times but at 22 apiece, the Kings finished on a 3-0 run.

The Cougars in the loss were led by Senior Outside Hitter Janiece Hill with 6 kills on 25 total attacks. She also added 7 digs. Sophomore Setter Nina Bernadine-White recorded 5 kills on 8 total attacks. Bernadine-White tallied 6 assists, a service ace, and three digs.

The Lions were led by Alexandra Rollis with 10 kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday Oct. 7, 2013, when they travel to Pratt Institute across town. The Cougars and Cannoneers will start at 7:30pm.
