COUGARS FALL TO DOLPHINS 82-60 IN MEN'S BASKETBALL

Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Men's Basketball Cougars fell to the College of Staten Island Dolphins 80-62 at Medgar Evers College. The Dolphins improve to 17-5 Overall and 12-2 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 10-13 Overall and 6-8 CUNYAC. This was the final home game of the 2012-13 season.

Prior to the game, Seniors Ricco Oliver, Ian Allen, Captain Jovan Deare and Winston Douglas were honored before the game. Once the game began, the Cougars looked sluggish and missing makeable shots. CSI started the game on a 13-0 run before the Cougars scored a 3pt. shot from Ricco Oliver. CSI led for the entire game. The Cougars would cut the lead to 7 with 4:15 left in the game, but that would be as close as they got to the lead.

In the loss, Medgar Evers College Sophomore Michael Taylor with 31pts (15-18 FT-FTA). Taylor grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and tallied 2 steals.

The Dolphins in the win, were led by Bloochy Magloire with 26pts. Javon Cox scored 22pts and Jonathan Chadwick-Myers added 21pts.

The Cougars will be back in action on Sunday February 10, 2013, when they travel to Jamaica, NY and take on the York College Cardinals. Game time is 3pm.
