Box Score Old Westbury, NY- The Women's Volleyball Cougars suffered their 3rd loss of the season, at the hands of Old Westbury 3-0. The scores were 25-9, 25-4, and 25-17 Panthers. They earned their 1st victory of 2013.

This wasn't a great match for the Cougars. They committed 18 errors, 9 service errors, and 15 receiving errors. Their were a few bright sports. Senior Outside Hitter and Captain Janiece Hill led her team with 3 kills. Hill added 4 digs. Sophomore Yosner Nicolas tallied 2 solo blocks, and a blocking assist. 

Old Westbury was led by Kimberly Catania with 8 kills.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, when they play in a CUNYAC Multi Match at York College in Jamaica, NY. In Match 1, MEC will play the CSI Dolphins at 3pm followed by the Lehman College Lightning at 5pm.
