Box Score Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Soccer Cougars fell to the Hunter College Hawks 3-2 earlier tonight. The win improves the Hawks to (2-10, 2-3 CUNYAC) while the Cougars drop to (4-7, 2-5 CUNYAC).

This game felt like a playoff match. Both teams needing a win to stay alive in the CUNYAC Playoff hunt. Hunter got on the board first. At a minute and 14 seconds, Brandon Fiscina scored off a free kick. Fast forward to the 6th minute, and Freshman Forward Osondu Esonwune scored his 5th goal of the season. The pass came from Junior Forward Zeakiel Daley. The Cougars would only tally two shots and both were on-goal. The 2nd shot, was a goal scored by Zeakiel Daley in the 27th minute. This was his 9th mark of the season, and it was assisted by Senior Denzel Sebastian. Hunter would score two late goals, in the 88th and 89th minutes of the game. Bryan Suertegary and Fiscina were the scorers.

For the goalies, Medgar Evers College Sophomore Kedric Flemius, played all 90 minutes, giving up three goals, and making 14 saves. His counterpart Zachary Metz played all 90 minutes and giving up two goals.

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday October 15, 2014, when they play the Saint Joseph's College of Bears. Game time will be 6:00 pm at Aviator Sports and Recreation Center.
