MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO YORK COLLEGE IN A NON-CONFERENCE TILT

Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Men's Soccer team fell to the York College Cardinals 9-0 earlier today. The Cardinals improve to 5-11 overall while the Cougars drop to 4-9 overall. 

The opening whistle, the Cardinals put up the offense. They put up all nine goals in the 1st half. The Cougars were outshot 23-1 (21-1 on-goal). Junior Goalie, Kedric Flemius played all 90 minutes, giving up nine goals, and carouling 12 saves. His counterpart Jordan Chin played all 90 minutes, and stopping one shot that came his way.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday October 20, 2014, when they travel to Brooklyn College and play the Bulldogs. This is important game for the Cougars, as a win will clinch a postseason berth. Game time is 4:00 pm.
