New York, NY- The Men's Basketball team fell to the Baruch College Bearcats 74-43 earlier tonight. The Bearcats improve to 14-4, 10-0 CUNYAC while the Cougars drop to 2-18 and 1-10 CUNYAC. 

The Bearcats led from the opening tip. The Cougars kept up with the Bearcats, keeping the deficit under nine points, for the first seven minutes. For the game, the Cougars shot 29.1% from the field, 7.7% from 3pt. range, and 52.6% from the free throw line. Baruch shot 43.5% from the field, 25.9% from 3pt. range, and 61.9% from the free throw line. 

In the loss, the Cougars were led by Junior Forward Zavier Coston with a season high and game high 17pts (8-16 FG-FGA and 1-1 FT-FTA). Zavier grabbed seven rebounds, dished out an assist, swiped away a shot, and added a steal. Freshman Guard Reynaldo Eloy scored 14pts (5-11 FG-FGA, 1-5 3pt. FG-FGA,and 3.5 FT-FTA).Reynaldo grabbed three rebounds and added a steal. In the win, Baruch was led by Granville Gittens with 14pts. Chimaechi Ekekeugbor with 10pts. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday, February. 3, 2015, when they play the Hunter College Hawks. Tip off will be 8:00 pm.
