Box Score CAMDEN, N.J. – An early deficit was too much as the Medgar Evers women's volleyball team lost in straight sets, [5-25, 13-25, 12-25], to Rutgers-Camden Saturday afternoon.

Kalifa Roberts (San Fernando, Trinidad/La Romain Secondary) slammed three kills in a losing effort for the Lady Cougars (0-22), while Naomi Chandler added a kill to go with three digs and a service ace. AnnMarie Bemberry had one assist and a dig, while Malado Kaba topped the team with five digs and an ace.

The Scarlet Raptors (12-10) got a game-high 13 kills from Olivia Rowland. Sydney Allen added seven kills, while Melanie Kaiser led the game with nine aces, while setter Brooke Hassan had 27 assists in the victory.

Medgar Evers closes out their 2015 campaign with the first of two final games at the Cougars Cave. They will take on CUNYAC opponent Lehman College on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
