Box Score Women's Volleyball Swept by SUNY Maritime
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Oct. 3, 2016) – On Monday, the women's volleyball team returned to The Cage to take on the Privateers of SUNY Maritime. Medgar Evers gave a nice effort but they were unfortunately swept by the Privateers. With this loss, Medgar Evers falls to 0-16 on the year and SUNY Maritime improves to an even 9-9.
 
Senior Kalifa Roberts recorded a team-high seven digs and five kills. Freshman teammate Adenike Akindude added six digs, four kills and two assists to her credit. The Lady Cougars played well at times but were unable to keep it up for long periods of time.
 
Women's volleyball will be back in action on Tuesday, October 4, at The Cave when they take on Cedar Crest College at 7 p.m.
