Results

For the second consecutive season, the Medgar Evers men's and women's indoor track and field teams reached the top of the CUNYAC mountain top, winning the conference championships in thrilling fashion on Saturday evening at the Nike Track & Field Center in New York, NY.

After capturing their first indoor track and field title in program history last season, Medgar Evers' men's squad grinded past Hunter for the 2024-2025 crown, compiling 193 points to edge the formidable Hawks, who notched 184. Lehman (62 points) and York (37 points) rounded out the field.

On the women's side, the Cougars pulled away late to capture the 2024-2025 title, their third in program history, securing 202 total points to second place Hunter's 175. Lehman (11 points) and York (6 points) claimed third and fourth place respectively.

When the meets were in the books, Cougars Head Coach Hugh Reid, who now has won 27 championships within the CUNY Athletic Conference (17 with CCNY, six with Lehman, and four with Medgar Evers) reflected on what was an incredible night in the history of Medgar Evers College athletics.

"I am so proud and honored to once again have coached both the Medgar Evers College men's and women's programs to CUNYAC indoor titles," Reid said. "After we won the championships last season, we knew that repeating would take an incredible amount of work, but all season, these student-athletes were up to the task, working diligently to improve each week. Throughout the course of this 2024-2025 campaign, these student-athletes set CUNYAC records, shattering Medgar Evers marks, set countless PR's, and took our programs to new heights. We are building a legacy of excellence through hard work, determination, focus, and ultimately, winning. I know we will all cherish these accomplishments for the rest of our lives."
