The men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed in their first meets since putting forth valiant efforts at the 2026 CUNYAC championships, as this past weekend, the Cougars competed at the Farley Inter Regional meet in Williamstown, MA. There, multiple Cougars achieved tremendous results, registering school and personal records and impressing their coaching staff in the process.

Quote from Coach Reid:

"The Farley Inter Regional was a great opportunity for our student-athletes to compete against some sensational postseason competitors from around the country", Reid said. "I was very proud of how zoned in we were, as we stayed focused on moving up the Regional and National rankings. The weather was not cooperating, but they still went out there and put forth great performances (school records, personal records). Competing in this meet tested our mental fortitude, and prepared us for the NCAA DIII AARTFC Regional Championship this week in Collegeville, PA, where there is expected to be more inclement weather. This was a great tune-up meet four our students, and I'm eager to see how they fare competing on the biggest stage later this week."

Notable Performers for the Men:

Pharell Fowler placed second in the 100-Meter Dash, qualifying for Regionals (10.90 in trials, 10.97 in the finals). He also came in fourth place in the 200-Meter Dash (21.92 – Regional Qualifier).

Omari Hinds got sixth place in the High Jump (1.86m)

Ahmed Toure earned an eighth-place finish in the Decathlon, earning Personal Records in the 100-Meter Dash (12.24), 400-Meter Dash (1:02.12), and the High Jump (1.66 meters). The 3,290-point accumulation was good for 5th All-time in school history.

Notable Performers for the Women:

Brianna Lindo set a school record in the Heptathlon, recording 4,043 points and qualifying for Regionals. The standout set personal records in the 200 (25.73), 800 (2:24.37), and High Jump (1.56m) competitions.
