Men's Cross Country

Cross country teams put forth plethora of tremendous performances at WCU Golden Ram Invitational

The Medgar Evers College men's and women's cross country teams continued their 2025 seasons this past Saturday, traveling to West Chester, PA to compete in the West Chester University Golden Ram Invitational. Both races were 5K in length, with the women claiming sixth place out of seven scoring teams, and the men capturing a seventh place finish out of eight competing squads.
Throughout the afternoon, many Cougars performed exceptionally, breaking records, setting personal-best times, and continuing to rise and progress as the season approaches its final stages.

A quote from Coach Reid

I am extremely proud of how our student-athletes represented Medgar Evers College at the Golden Ram Invitational hosted by West Chester University," Coach Reid said. "Competing against several strong HBCU programs, our teams held their own and showcased just how far our programs have come. As we move closer to the conference championships, both teams are peaking at the right time and proving that Medgar Evers College Cross Country is ready to compete with the best."
