The Medgar Evers College Outdoor Track and Field program continued its 2026 season last week, putting forth hearty performances at the Lincoln University Invitational (4/16) and the American International College Invitational (4/18). During those two aforementioned meets, the team continued to rise to new heights, as the student-athletes earned multiple personal-bests and CUNYAC qualifiers. The success was a positive sign with the CUNYAC championship meet less than two weeks away.

Quote from Coach Reid:

"These student-athletes truly rose to the occasion, especially at the Lincoln University Invitational", Reid said. "Having to compete in high level competition on a Thursday, and then with a day's recovery, competing at the AIC Invitational, was challenging. Despite the fatigue these students were dealing with, they still acquired a plethora of personal records, and earned a ton of Regional qualifiers. That is a good sign as we head towards postseason competition."
