Medford, NY- The Cougars dropped a non conference match @ St. Joseph's LI 4-0 on Sunday Oct.2, 2011 in Medford, NY. The Eagles improved to 5-6 while the Cougars dropped to 1-11.

The Cougars played tight defense early and made clean passes, but St. Joe's LI was able to score all 4 goals in the 1st half. The Cougars were outshot 13-6. The Cougars a couple of chances to score, but the results didn't come. In the 2nd half, the Cougars were outshot 10-7 and 23-13 for the match.

For the goal keepers, Chris Welsh gave up 4 goals in 90 minutes and made 8 saves. The Eages used 2 goalies. Chris Muhs played the 1st half and made 2 saves and Robert Mancuso played the 2nd half and made 3 saves.

The Cougars will be back in action on Monday Oct.3, 2011 when they play the Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders. Game time is set for 7:30pm.
