Box Score Brooklyn, NY- On Wednesday Oct. 10, 2012, the Men's Soccer team played the Brooklyn College Bulldogs at Brooklyn College. For Medgar Evers College, this meant playing their boro and conference rival. Brooklyn College won 10-2. They improve to 7-4-2 Overall and 3-1-2 CUNYAC, while Medgar Evers College drops to 1-10 Overall and 0-5 CUNYAC.

Brooklyn College scored the first goal and never looked backed. Medgar Evers scored their first goal in the first half, off a free kick from Freshman Nikolai Calder. Fellow classmate Niccomi Chandler knocked the ball in the back of the net to make the score 6-1 Brooklyn College. For Chandler that was his 1st goal of the season.

In the 2nd half, Brooklyn College would tack on 4 more goals. Medgar Evers scored their 2nd goal of the game, when Senior Andrew Smith rifled the ball pass goal keeper Stamatis Boundouris.

For the goal keepers, Medgar Evers College Christopher Welsh played all 90 minutes, gave up 10 goals and made 6 saves. Brooklyn Colleges' Stamatis Boundouris played 90 minutes, gave up 2 goals, and made 4 saves.

Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Saturday Oct. 13, 2012 when they play the York College Cardinals. Game time is 1:30pm at Aviator Sports and Recreational Center in Brooklyn, NY. It will be an away match for the Cougars.
