Box Score Staten Island, NY- On Saturday Oct. 20, 2012, the Medgar Evers Men's Soccer team played the City College of New York Beavers on the campus of the College of Staten Island in Staten Island, NY, in the season finale of CUNYAC play. CCNY defeated the Medgar Evers College Cougars 5-1. The Beavers improve to 7-7-2 Overall and 5-2-1 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 1-13 Overall and 0-8 CUNYAC. 

Medgar Evers fielded 9 athletes on the pitch. In goal keeper was Freshman Midfielder Niccomi Chandler. Chandler who never played keeper in any form of his life, faired pretty well. In 68 minutes, he gave up 5 goals and made 8 saves. Zeakiel Daley scored his 4th of the season, when he shot the ball left of CCNY keeper Danny Hernandez in the 2nd half.  

Medgar Evers College will conclude the 2012 season, when they travel to Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ on Monday Oct. 22, 2012. Game time is 7pm.
