COUGARS FALL TO KNIGHTS IN MEN'S SOCCER

Box Score Newark, NJ- On Sunday Oct. 7, 2012, the Medgar Evers College Men's Soccer squad played against the Berkeley College of New Jersey Knights at New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. The Knights won 10-2. They improve to 6-6 Overall while Medgar Evers College drops to 1-9 Overall.

The Cougars scored a goal in each of the halves. Zeakiel Daley scored his 2nd of the season in the 1st half, and Nikolai Calder scored his 2nd as well. This goal came in the 2nd half.

For the goalkeepers, Cougars Christopher Welsh played 90 minutes, gave up 10 goals, and made 11 saves. Knights goalies Thomas Frangieh played 67:50, gave up 2 goals and made a save. 

Medgar Evers College will be back in action on Wednesday Oct. 11, 2012 when they play the Brooklyn College Bulldogs in a conference match at Brooklyn College. Game time is to be announced.
