Brooklyn, NY- The Cougars fell to borough and conference rival Brooklyn College Bulldogs 3-0 (17-25, 19-25, 25-27) on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at MEC.

MEC committed less errors in the match 14 compared to the Bulldogs 20 errors. BC made up in tallying 42 kills compared to the Cougars 27. The match was all BC early until the 3rd set. MEC tied the score at 23 then 25 before the Bulldogs finished the match.

MEC was led by 3 players each with 8 kills (Jamal Baptiste, Olando Cummings, and Jason Brown). Lancedale Calderon was credited with 19 assists, Brown and Baptiste added with a solo block apiece.

BC was led by David Rafailov with 14 kills.

MEC will be back in action on Saturday March 3, 2012 when they play the John Jay College Bloodhounds at CCNY as part of a CUNYAC Multimatch day. MEC is only playing 1 match instead of normal 2 and game time is 1pm.
