Senior Ahmed Toure tabbed to 2026 CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Sportsmanship Team

The 2026 CUNY Athletic Conference men's volleyball All-Conference teams and major awards were announced Thursday afternoon.  The All-Conference teams and major awards are voted upon by the league's head coaches. Medgar Evers College was represented by Veteran Ahmed Toure, who earned a spot on the conference's sportsmanship team.

Toure, who joined the Cougars' men's volleyball team for the squad's final 12 matches, made an immediate impact upon his arrival. Leading by example, he was a constant presence at practices and matches, working diligently to help the team in a plethora of ways.

The All Hallows High School product tied for the team-lead in total blocks (10), while ranking third in kills (18) and fourth in digs (28).
